What is the Industrial App Store (IAS)?

Similar to the app stores that you have available on your mobile, IAS is an app store where users can access a variety of apps cover a large area of functionality. As the name suggests, the IAS is focussed primarily on industrial applications with many of the apps helping users to analyse and visualise their plant data, making full use of IIoT. The IAS can be used on your computer, mobile, tablet, and even in your car (Tesla only), making it accessible to many.

The Key Features

Minimal Set-up - To access your organisation's data through       ,the organisation admin must download App Store Connect. That is the only mandatory installation required for the entire process. This helps to keep set up time and maintenance to a minimum, ensuring that you can focus on making the most of your data.

Security is paramount - IAS uses HTTPs which means that any communication between user and the IAS is encrypted. So even if interception was to occur, the encryption of the data would keep the data secure. Penetration testing is performed regularly to identify areas of improvement for our security.

What can it do?

With IAS, your data can be examined in many different ways. Here are a few examples.

Analyse and Visualise your data

Our Gestalt Apps, Trend and PnID, help you to spot patterns in your real time and historic data which could identify areas of improvement in machinery, and create dashboards so that users can monitor plant data throughout the day.

Improve your Alarm System

Interrogating your alarm and event data can be useful in finding alarms that are not operating as expected. With Alarm Analysis, you can go through your data and gain a better understanding on your alarms - chattering alarms, fleeting alarms, stale alarms are all easily seen, and the app provides information on how to mitigate these ill-performing alarms.

Connect your data to Microsoft Products

The IAS has Microsoft Automate and Microsoft Power BI certified connectors that provide you with ability to access and query your data with no fuss.
