Intelligent Plant has always been at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technologies into our applications. Over the years, we've developed solutions such as OpMode and Well Intelligence that use Machine Learning (ML) to maximise efficiency and insight into monitored assets. The Industrial App Store - the world's first IIoT platform - has been providing organisations the ability to share their data seamlessly with other organisations for ober a decade. Now, we're expanding into Artificial Intelligence (AI), exploring how it can unlock new possibilities for our clients.
Recent Projects.
The rapid rise of AI in the 2020s has been transformative, with advancements happening at an unprecedented pace. At Intelligent Plant, we've embraced this evolution by incorporating AI into both our internal processes and client solutions.

In 2023, as ChatGPT's viral impact was making headlines globally, we partnered with the University of Aberdeen and the European Marine Energy Centre. Our joint research focussed on Explainable AI and how it could help operators in hydrogen production facilities ensure production remained safe and efficient. Learn more about the project.
We've also been pushing boundaries internally. For example, we developed an internal system using LLM that has been trained on our internal documentation. This has significantly increased the speed of our internal processes, benefiting both us and our clients.

But beyond that, we see a real opportunity to maximise client data with the help of AI. To reap those benefits, our development team have been working on integrating AI agents within the Industrial App Store and its suite of apps.​

With these new developments almost complete, soon users will users have the ability to interrogate their data with the power of multi agent technology, even if the user has limited knowledge of the dataset. This will open up data to a much larger sector of organisational teams, where they can all benefit from what the data can tell them about operations.
